Divorce Settlement - Builder Quote
Job description
Have a property inspection report for my home with significant watertightness issues identified throughout the home, including cladding (insulclad). Report is from a local reputable inspector and is about a year old from when we were about to auction home and split proceeds. Need someone to quote for likely cost of fixing the issues (identified in the report) for a property valuer so his valuation can take into account the work that needs to be done and can be used for the court for divorce settlement purposes. This is just so the court has a rough idea of property's value - they are not interested in the minute detail and the quotation for the work needed can have all necessary caveats in it. I have a builder friend who can be around when you come around and he's familiar with the home - this is just out of his league as work needed is quite extensive . Also can give you the valuer details. Not sure if this job is for a specialist builder or a QS. Prepared to pay for quote up front. Solo mum with two beautiful children and just trying to keep a roof over their head when their dad is keen to sell/get non-existent money out of the home and believes the watertightness issues are made up...... :(
