After heavy rain there is a leak that seeps down into our basement. The basement has been converted into a living area. The leak is confined to one small (area) room. This room was originally a sound room created by previous owners (very poorly) as we now have discovered). We have cleared the gutters above which seem to provide temporary relief but we are interested in a more permanent resolution by inspection from a professional before more heavy rain sets in. There is black polythene lining between ply outer sheets and clay earth bank but water is still getting in "Somewhere" Concrete floor not sealed.
