Deck leak

We have an old deck which is leaking. Obviously the whole thing needs replacing but looking for a solution ASAP to keep it watertight for another 12 months or so. I put a plastic flashing on initially but it has failed after a couple of months (see pics). Also possible there is another leak somewhere else.
