Shower Leak/Water Damaged Floor
Job description
I've found a couple of soft spots on my bathroom floor, right next to the shower. The softest spot is beside the wall between the bathroom linen cupboard and the left-hand side of the shower (see pics). The left-hand side of the shower is also the side that has the shower spigot attached - so leak is probably coming from the piping behind the wall? First priority is locating and stopping the leak, and second is seeing how much water damage has occurred in the flooring and how much of it might need replacing. Hoping to have this done urgently, as soon as possible - not sure how much water damage has occurred, so I'm dreading the moment when the whole shower falls through the floor while one of us is still stark naked inside it, giving all the spiders under the house a terrible fright.
