Waterproofing toilet area

I have a toilet/wash basin (2.5m x 1m) on the ground floor. I do not want to install a full blown shower which requires consent, knocking down walls etc hence thinking of I of waterproofing it and installing a water outlet (to the same outlet where water from wash basin goes to) so that when the elderly folks come occasionally I could attached a hose from the basin tap for them to get a quick wash while sitting on the toilet seat. I could also install a shower curtain to reduce water splash. I am happy for some ideas/feedback.
