Investigate and repair window Frame Leak

In certain storms, we have water dropping down through the top of a window frame, it lands on the sill and pools. The problem persisted through having double glazed units installed, so it doesn't appear to be the windows, but coming down through the frame itself. It doesn't happen every time it rains, but usually when it comes through there is enough that it drips a little onto the carpet. Obviously have concerns about whether it is in the walls etc too. Keen for someone to identify issue an remediate.
