Conservatory roof replacement

We have an old conservatory roof with polycarbonate/ plastic panels. One panel collapsed in recent rain. All the panels are sagging and are in poor condition. We would like to get rid of all the panels and put up opaque panels, or cover the whole conservatory roof with something else on top. Parts of the roof leak where the panels join the aluminium frame, and potentially where the aluminium frame joins onto the house. We hopefully have made the broken panel temporarily water tight, so are looking for a solution for the whole conservatory roof. Would something like coloursteel on top and ply on the inside ceiling work? Open to options.
