Roof Gully Waterproofing

Hi, I have a leak above one of our bedrooms. The leak is coming from a gully where the house roof meets the garage roof. This gully is completely flat. So the recent heavy rain is filling it up, causing the leak. A representative of a roofing company has told me what he thinks a builder would be best to fix this issue.
