Roof Leak through and into ceilings in garage & laundry areas

Can the roof please be repaired or covered as such to stop any further leakage and damage. When the lockdown is over the roof hopefully can then be checked out and properly fixed. Noticed during the heavy rain over the weekend . This has caused flooding in the laundry area and the adjacent internal garage. I am looking after the house as the elderly occupant recently went in to hospital. It is unknown how long the roof has had problems
