Repair Conservatory roof

I have a conservatory roof (not glass, it's metal frame with some sort of plasticy flat panels) that is leaking. A guy came and told me that the panels need to be slided out and rubber seals need to be replaced. He said in order to do this, the guttering needs taken out. It's difficult getting a convenient time to do this, also his price seems a bit steep. I need this fixed asap.
