Repair leaking door and windows.

We have a door to our laundry which leaks in heavy rain. Its aluminum and glass and is surrounded with weatherboard. Some of the weatherboard looks like it'll need replacing. I've enlarged the drains in the bottom of the door but it still leaks. I've tried applying silicon to try and seal it with no luck. We also have some windows that sometime leaks in heavy rain. We have internal guttering in our roof which I've added an overflow too, but it seems this is not enough to stop water dripping down the inside of the windows in very heavy rain. We're in the process of selling our house and I'd like to get this all fixed before new owners take possession. Thanks in advance! :)
