New Shower (waterproofing and tiling)
Job description
Existing tiled alcove shower 1300 x 1300cm. Waterproofing and Mosaic floor tiling has cracked and failed. Photo on left is of existing failed shower. Photo on RHS is of our preferred repaired and finished option. Requires a 100% full fix. Owners prefers all work to be undertaken/managed by a single builder or tradesperson. Remove all tiling to expose substrate and timber floor and wall structures. Removal and replacement of all decayed damaged framing. • Tiles on floor – same as existing tiles in bathroom 450 x 450 • Tiles on walls – white gloss ceramic 450 x 450 or 600 x 600? • Remove tiled wall next to vanity • Remove shower slide and mixer from right hand side • Install new shower slider? • Keep existing central waste • Take tiles in shower to existing height • Remove tiles from edge next to toilet door and touch up gib ready for repainting • Install glass door across gap • Replace trim around window

Good workmanship and diligent. However work took significantly longer than anticipated and Rod was difficult to pin down with attendance and promptness
