Rising damp quote

We have a 1920's double brick house with internal brick walls. We have noticed rising damp in a couple places, the worst case is in a bedroom. We need someone to advise if it is able to be fixed and must be able to do the work soon as we are trying to organise new carpets to be laid before Christmas. Access under floor is limited.
