After heavy rain there is water seeping from underneath the tiled floor of my downstairs bathroom. The bathroom is on an exterior concrete block wall and advice I have received is that the blocks need re-sealing/waterproofing . The house is a 1960s bungalow - with concrete block base and weatherboard above. It is on a sloping section so water run off goes down the side of the house. I have cleared drains so it is not caused by a blockage, so I think it must be seeping from the ground against the block wall.
