Replace disposal field for septic tank

We've had some issues with our septic tank. First thought it needed to be emptied out, but the lid was not accessible so had to get a digger in to uncover it. Now, from what I've been told, it looks like the disposal field may have failed. We are looking for advice/options and quotes for replacement of the disposal field.
