A small hole opened up in the ground just next to a sewage manhole cover. Opening the manhole cover showed a moderate amount of the sewage seeping between eroded joins in the pipes and into the ground and it appears to have carried away a significant amount of the dirt supporting the pipes and manhole cover, probably down into a lava tunnel deeper below. At a guess, this job requires: - securing the cavity from further subsidence - filling void under manhole cover area - repairing/replacing pipe connections
