New stormwater drain

I need a new stormwater drain on advice from spouting installers. Please see attached satellite photo of house. The 2 green dots are the existing drains and the yellow dot is where the new drain needs to go. I assume a trench will need dug connecting the new drain to the existing storm water drain aprox 10m I would guess. You can see in the other photo the drain would be placed in front of the post to the right of the front door. Work to occur asap so the spouting can also be installed.
