The stormwater runoff from my roof goes to a small, shoddy tank in and overflows from there onto the ground at one corner of my house. I don't think there is any actual stormwater available to Connect it to unfortunately but having it dissipate and/or bog up the lower garden is preferable to current situation. I would like a better drainage solution here by removing/replacing the tank and redirecting stormwater overflow around the side of the house to the bottom of the property. I would also like to look at in including better drainage/water-proofing along this side of the house so this area can remain less boggy during winter sending groundwater the same way. I ultimately want a nice-enough area here to put in a gravel path and put modern external appliances such as hot water cylinders and heat pumps.
