Garage area of house needs additional drainage remediation. One side of the garage at the back is not fully enclosed, the land slopes up behind the garage and water runoff drains into the garage and out to street. In addition a detention tank discharges water which runs the same way. Have been advised I need to: 1. Inspect status of detention tank and confirm functional. Route overflow from this tank around the front of the house and directed towards the road. 2. Install cesspits at the back of garage, and direct them to the tank overflow. Re-grade this area to fall to the cesspit, perhaps install some underground novacoil drains thus creating a water catchment directed away from the house, downhill and towards the road. 3. Validate if above is a suitable solution and if not adjust. Provide as built plans so they can be submitted to council. Am on a tight time frame and am targeting view/quote on 23 Feb with completion as soon as possible. Thank you in advance
