Rubbish removal - end of tenancy, old desk Hikurangi

We have an old kids desk, already mostly in parts but too big for my car, needing removal along with 2 boxes of carboard following a tenancy that is now completed. It was supposed to be collected but this has evidently fallen through and we are now stuck with the landlady asking what we are going to do about it and limited options. On George Street in Hikurangi, not far from the refuse station.
