Large Backyard Makeover Project

Large Backyard Makeover Project on the North Shore, Auckland As Project Manager, Call My Ltd is inviting quotes from suitably qualified tradesmen to sub-contract to this significant project. Our clients have invested in a landscape design plan for their backyard makeover project and copies will be made available if required to sub-contractors once an on-site meeting with our Project Manager has taken place. Key features of the project for which quotes are sought are: 1. Fencing: 2 x standard timber paling fences approximately 15 m each at 1.8m high with retaining at the base. Note section sloping significantly from front to back. Demolition of existing timber fencing may be included. 2. Decking: Four existing decks need to be either renovated or demolished and rebuild. Approximate area sizes are 54 sqm, 12 sqm, 31 sqm and 12 sqm. One deck is elevated. 3. Timber retaining (terraced with steps) and raised plant boxes: Given the sloping nature of the section this is a significant feature of the project as will be evidenced on site inspection. Generally retaining not more than 800 mm high. 4. Concrete slab around swimming pool: Demolish existing concrete slab/paving and lay new slab for new swimming pool pavers. Approximately 20-25 sqm x 75/100mm. 5. Swimming pool paving: Install new pavers around pool including bull nose edge over pool side (kidney bean shaped pool) 6. Glass balustrade upper deck with dressed timber top rail: Supply and install approx length 10 – 12 m. 7. Plumbing: Relocate pool pump and associated plumbing. 8. Earthworks (digger operation): Excavation of parts of the site to make room for new retaining walls and terracing. It is envisaged that excess soil will be relocated elsewhere on the site. Expressions of interest are welcomed now with a view to a site visit. It is anticipated that our Project Manager will get in touch with you later this week. Quotes to be provided by 20 January 2014.
