Ed gave me a written quote to remove a small pile of dirt, rocks and garden waste. He did not do a site visit prior to quoting although there was plenty of time to do that. After starting work a friend came to help with the shovelling. After a while Ed requested that I pay him more money for the job to which I said no. He did not seem familiar with laws about giving quotes. He then went back to work but a little later he informed me that he would not be completing the job as he wanted more money
