Seeking ventilation for downstair guest room

We have a downstairs guest area which is essentially a concrete box. It is cold and smells musty. We are seeking some ventilation options to increase airflow downstairs. We currently have a heat transfer system but it's only useful while wood burner is on. We are looking to replace the transfer with fulltime filtered ventilation . Keen to discuss some cost effective options.
