Handy man for rangehood - birds nest in the venting system

Job description

Rangehoods
Birkenhead, North Shore

Published on 21 May 2024

Myna birds moved into our rangehood duct/venting system when a slat on the exhaust cover broke off. Nesting material has made its way into the fan we think. The exhaust is on the first floor level (eg not ground floor level) so requires a ladder to reach. In short we would like said nesting material removed and the exhaust plate/cover replaced before the next nesting season begins!! I think this is a handy man job, but perhaps an electrician is required to get into the unit and remove the debris?

Really happy with the work done. My partner, who was home today, said Vlad was a nice guy who got on with it. His comms were timely and price consistent with what he told me and what I thought in my own head.
