I have an existing range hood above hob without external ventilation. To comply with healthy homes rules I must have a steam vent to outside. I need to connect the exit opening on the range hood via a duct through a wall to the outside with a man rose fitted outside. It requires drilling a suitable size hole (120mm) through the wall (plasterboard inside/brick outside) just above the range hood for back to back installation. Connect ducting to vent opening and take it through wall to outside and fit ducting to man rose on outside wall. Weatherproof opening. Job must be done as soon as possible.
