Our house is cold and notice condensation. We want to keep our house warm in our living areas and bedrooms in a energy cost effective way. I don't know if we have wall insulation and judging by the cold rooms I doubt it. We are keen to look at heat distribution system and optional positive balanced ventilation system and wall insulation. With a relatively flat roof (about 5degrees pitch) I suspect roof insulation may be out of the question. Also with our home on top of our garage and entertainment room, i also suspect underfloor insulation is not possible. We have a Mitsubishi heat pump downstairs (entertainment room no ventilation needed) and upstairs where we live mostly, that could perhaps be used to distribute heat throughout, but don't know how this works or options to help with above need. Summary: Wall insulation (possibly roof if feasible) Hest transfer system (with the option of positive balanced ventilation system) Need is: Warmer dry rooms throughout the house. 4 bedroom house Images below to illustrate roof pitch, house layout (rectangle with living space ontop) and main living area which has a hest pump in the open plan living space.
