Expand space and install duct for dryer

We currently have a space occupied by a cupboard (lined with MDF) above our washing machine that we'd like to use for our dryer. The steps to complete this would be: - Remove the cupboard - Increase the space by lifting and widening it - Cut a hole for ventilation in the wall of the space and the outer wall of the house - Install a duct in the wall which can be connected to the dryer It's a bit of a complicated one to explain with words so hopefully the attached picture makes it clearer.
