We had tile splashbacks put in both our kitchen and bathroom. We asked the tiler specifically to cut the tiles down so that they aligned to the vanity which he did not do, we put it down to laziness and rushing. When we spoke to the Dave (the owner) about our dismay he informed us that in order to correct the problem, the tiles would have to be removed therefore damaging our wall. He also did not offer a resolution or adjust the cost due to our disatisfaction. The quote did not include additional materials to frame the tiles which we had to then go down to the hardware store and purchase which was an extra $30. This should have been covered in the quote. Unfortunately for us we are not happy with the finish look as areas of the grouting are lumpy and patchy in areas. We will not be using Rainbow Traders again.

"Interesting! Jon seem happy enough. We got the job done Quickly for him. He supplied the tiles and if he wanted tile edge he need to tell us and we would have included it in the price. The Large amount of tiling in the kitchen looked great and Jon was happy about it. Also was happy with other building repairs done. The tiler when a bit wide with the tiles as they had a pattern on then that would look odd if cut. The job was ok , but only a small job done with low budget tiles at a budget price. My Tradesman Tiler was away on holiday and we used a Chinese tiler to do this job. He was cheaper ,but not as good. I offer the customer to have the bathroom tiles changed if he wanted at our cost."
