Subway tile splashback in kitchen
Job description
Kia ora! Looking for a tiler who can install a subway white tile splashback in our kitchen. Approx 2.8m2 (across two walls - see attached picture). Currently there is a small glass splashback behind the stovetop — we will remove that ourselves before tiling commences. We will supply tiles (unless the tradie has contacts of a good place to source tiles). Please quote on labour + cost for materials for tiling (e.g. grout etc). Keen to get it done soon, as we recently repainted the walls so there is no longer a water resistant paint behind the sink. The attached image shows where we would like it tiled (highlighted in yellow), including rough measurements. Thanks!

Overall happy with the end result, but I'm glad I was home when the splashback was being installed. Had I not noticed or said anything, we would have ended up with a section of tiling that was completely different to the original pattern — and unnecessarily. Seemed disappointing that I had to point out a big fault in workmanship to someone who has been tiling for so long. But thankfully it wasn't too late to fix, and we have the result we wanted.
