DIY Disaster

Help!! My husband (who is now banned from doing ANY DIY EVER again) has tiled the wall behind my oven. Sad thing is, He cannot now fit the new rangehood back on the wall because he did not measure the thickness of the tiles before fitting them I need someone to come and mend his mess Can anyone help?? It will not be a big job Debbie ---
