Re-tiling hearth

Small job of re-tiling the hearth where the log burner is located. It's easy to remove the existing tiles but there are some under the log burner that can't be removed as it's a wetback. Thinking of a dark grey/black tile so may have to paint the tiles that can't be removed from under the log burner, unless of course they can be 'chipped out around the edges of the burner (if that makes sense).

Ross did an excellent job; clearly a very professional and experienced tradesman. Great advice and guidance given prior to coming onsite re tiles. Knew exactly what needed to be done and explained things clearly. Nothing was too much trouble. Job completed very quickly. It looks amazing (I'm yet to paint the surround). Would highly recommend Ross.
