We are redoing our bathroom and are looking to get the walls and floors tiled, but would like a quote on the cost beforehand. The tiles are purchased and the tiling boards (if required). The bathroom is currently down to the shell, plumber is coming in this weekend ( --- ) to position the pipes and the builder should be in this weekend to fit the cavity slider. Gib will also go up this weekend ( --- ) Nothing will be fitted until after the tiling is completed as we would like the bathroom to be as water tight as possible before bath/shower, Toilet and vanity is fitted. The tiles for the floor and bath/shower walls are 300 X 600 and will run from the floor up 3 walls which surround the bath/shower. There are 2 shower wall ends which are 800 (w) X 2.4m (h) (1.92sqm) and the shower wall which is 2.4m (h) X 2m (L) (4.8sqm) The tiles for the other walls are 100 X 400 (long rectangle) and will only run 1.2 - 1.3m up the remaining walls (under the window & the vanity/toilet wall). So 1.4m (L) X 1.3 (H) (1.82sqm) along the back wall and 2m (L) X 1.3m (H) (2.6sqm) Total size of the bathroom is 5sqm (2m long X 2.5m wide) Ideally, we should be ready for tiling by the week of the 26th Feb.
