Kitchen cooking area - wall tiling

Looking for quote to tile a kitchen splash back . Area is --- (side wall) L shaped Will supply tiles. Not yet sure of tile type, possible herringbone or patterned tile - Please advise possible tile choices that can affect job cost. We currently have a temporary slash back in place. Also noted the space between cooktop and wall is less than 2cm or about 2cm, and seems it’s not very straight.

Super detailed tiler. Gave some good points for consideration and very respectful of our decision and needs. Avoided being wasteful of our panels. Job finished without a hitch. Would recommended for other jobs.
