I would like tiles to be laid on a front doorstep that is approximately 3sqm in total size. I have not yet selected the tiles, but will likely be 500x500mm or 600x600mm as these seem to be the most common sizes in exterior tiles. The circumference of the doorstep is curved upwards as it meets the walls of the house (See photos). I would like to understand how you will deal with that. The doorstep is approximately 1700mm wide and 960mm deep. The step is approximately 1850mm wide and 315mm deep. Step heights are approximately 160mm. The one step has a rough finish on the right side. I would like the tiler to tidy that up and have the tiles extend to cover that edge (see photos). Other than that, after a good job. Am flexible on timing of the job over the next couple/few weeks. Anything else I need to know/advise?
