Tiling Refresh in Bathroom

We currently have seratone surrounding our bathtub/shower. It is fairly new and in excellent condition but we regret not tiling instead when we replaced our bathroom 4 years ago. Wondering the rough cost of either tiling over the top of the sera tone if that is indeed possible, or pulling it off and tiling. Also would be keen for an inset toiletry shelf to be incorporated into the wall over bath to eliminate having to have shampoo etc sitting on edge of bathtub as it is now. Seratone has been professionally hung and well sealed so no leaks etc. Its just ugly!
