Entryway Tiling - --- s
Job description
Looking for someone to tile our entryway which is essentially rectangular with the stairs protruding into it a little bit. 600 by 600 tiles have be bought and are on site. The area to be tiled is 10.5m2 - this is the ground floor in the photos and does not include anything up the stairs or behind the interior door (next to the stairs). Refer to attached image for the layout we want - the setout is from the stairs so that overall pattern is more centred to the room. The tiles along the long walls end up having a lot more wastage but we have allowed for this in the amount of tiles we purchased. Shown in photos is existing garage carpet which we will take up before you come. There is an existing concrete floor underneath - whatever has been used under the carpet is not sticky/tacky at all so we think you should be able to lay right on top. We do not require the skirting board to be pulled up, you can tile up to it and silicone between. We do not have the following: - Tile spacers (3mm), - Tile adhesive, - Grout (colour matched as best as possible, white) - Trim (white). This is for underneath the interior door in the photo, the garage carpet will remain beyond. All is needed is 710mm which will sit between the jambs. - Silicone (again, colour matched) We have no particular schedule, work can be during the week or weekend.
