Tile removal and filling in old central heating floor cavities

We are getting new carpet laid. In preparation we need some old tiles pulled up, in a central atrium hallway area. The area is approx 5m x 4m plus some additional narrow hallway area (see photos). We also need to get some cavities in the ground filled in before we can get the carpet laid. These are old central heating vents which are now decommissioned. There are a total of 7 of these throughout the house to be filled in so carpet can be laid. Looking to get the job done in September. Thanks!
