Job description

Floor and Wall Tiling
Christchurch

I want to retile my downstairs bathroom and toilet floor to match my upstairs ones. I have --- tiles left over from the upstairs job. I intend to purchase and supply the rest of the tiles, so please quote on labour for install new tiles + disposal costs of existing tiles. Hopefully my photos are detailed enough that you can give a rough ball-park estimate (non-binding quote) without needing to view the job in person, but this can be arranged if necessary. Measurements are not necessarily 100% accurate, but should be very close. As you can see, the bathroom is a little fiddly in terms of floor area. In addition to the measurements shown on the floorplan, there is also a kickboard for the vanity that needs to be tiled, which is visible in one of the photos. The size of that area is 890mm long by 145mm tall, or 0.129m^2. All up the raw area calculated by my drawing program comes to 3.59m^2 which is 1.36m for the toilet and 2.23m for the bathroom including kickboard. Given the directional pattern on the tiles, I expect the job probably needs at least 4m^2 of tiles - will take advice on how many to buy. I am very flexible on timing. Before Christmas is fine if you can squeeze it in, otherwise any time in January is good too.

Daniel provided a detailed written quote with diagram of the tiling to be done and is very professional and friendly to talk to. Daniel did an excellent job on my bathroom tiling and I couldn't be happier. He has all the proper tools for the job and works fast and efficiently. Through careful planning and skill, Daniel was able to save me an entire box of tiles, so the job ended up being cheaper than expected!
