Wall Tiling ~1.2m2, Regrouting ~1.5m2
Job description
In bathroom, we are doing a tidy up /renovation. We've taken out a vanity and are replacing it with a smaller one. So we need some wall tiling done, 127 x 86 cm. And we would like the old tiles tidied up with some regrouting 110 x 96cm. Discuss replacing some. The wall tiles are the old fashioned 15 x 15 cm. In the photo attached, numbered notes are: 1. Replace tiling where a couple have been taken out for a power point installation 2. This is where the vanity is going, See the water inlets. It will have standard width (48cm?). Tiling will go up to its edge. 3. Bottom line of existing tiles are cut to fit previous vanity. New vanity will go to same height, but where the new tiles are going it it would be better to replace the cut tiles so they are a full size at the join. 4. Area for the new tiles. Timeframe: flexible over next 3 weeks.

Trader (Bogdan) was great, he came quickly, and working with his wife, finished the job quickly. Earlier a different tiler came to quote and said it was impossible and we should just replace all the walls (he offered to do it). It may have been a good solution... but not what we expected! Instead, Bogdan completed all with no problems, even cunningly matching up our new metric sized tiles with the old imperial sized ones, and retrieving old tiles to reuse in places.
