We're looking at buying a new house (built around 1997) and after having a building inspection done, we've found the shower is leaking into the wall area behind. A moisture meter showed high levels of moister through the bedroom wall adjoining, and a cupboard behind. I'd like to get a quote on fixing this. The shower is tiled, so these would all need removing. Then the woodwork in the walls would have to be replaced. There's also a possibility that the floor tiles have moisture beneath them, so would have to be lifted. This is a medium sized bathroom. I understand that until the walls are opened up, it's hard to tell how much work may be needed. But I'd like to get an idea of how much we could be up for before we decide to go ahead and buy the house (which we really want to). Thanks, Robin
