Blocked pool pipe

Job description

Pool Repairs
Waipa

Our swimming pool pipe has become blocked with what we think is likely a river stone (from our garden that got accidentally vaccumed up) or some kind of severe blockage that can't be easily removed. We have already had a professional swimming pool repair man out and he was unable to remove the blockage with his pumps, however he didn't have a camera to be able to see exactly what was going on. The pipe is approx 40ml in diameter but narrows to approx 32ml and we are assuming it's likely this is where the blockage has occurred. A garden hose has been pushed down the pipe and has gone about 1.5m before hitting something. We are unsure if this is the blockage or perhaps a no return valve which could present it's own issues in trying to remove the blockage. We did not put the swimming pool in so we are unsure if there are any bends in the pipes under the ground, potentially there is one bend as it goes into the shed. The pipe is likely approx 6-7m in length from pool to shed - again this is just an estimate as it's very hard to know for sure. Unless the blockage can be cleared we are likely looking at having to dig up some concrete to get to the pipe but we'd like to avoid that if possible but if necessary at least learn exactly where the blockage is in the pipe. I have called several drain specialists who have all told me their cameras and equipment are too big to fit inside a pipe our size.
