Job description

Spa Pools & Hot Tubs
Rodney

Installation of new spa pool to replace existing spa pool. Scope of work includes, but is not limited, to: (1) Break-out, removal from site and disposal of existing 'on ground' spa pool shell. (2) Physical placement/installation of new spa pool at rear of dwelling, in place of existing spa pool [ this portion is challenging, due to physical access limitations] . A pre-offer site inspection will be necessary to determine installation methodology and hence quotation pricing. It should be noted that the new spa pool will be delivered to site by the spa pool supplier/manufacturer and will be temporarily located on the concrete apron at the front of the dwelling. The new spa pool is to be moved by the contractor from the delivered position at the front of the dwelling to the rear of the dwelling and be placed 'direct on ground' in the position vacated by the existing spa pool. The contractor's quotation must allow for any minor site levelling works (soil removal) that may be required to facilitate level placement of the new spa pool prior to installation. (3) Wiring of new spa to existing electrical supply point which is within about two metres, but behind an external wall. Electrical scope of work includes : Disconnection of existing spa heater electrics, which is located external to the existing spa pool. Installation of new, permanent wiring to the new spa pool, sized to suit new spa pool heater ( maximum 5kw). Note: The described electrical work is to be undertaken only by a registered electrician. The contractor may choose to exclude this portion of the specified works from their offer, but an exclusion must be clearly noted and stated in the quotation scope.
