We have a fireplace that apparently doesn't meet regs. We need to tie-down to earthquake proof as well as extend the hearth. We have the tiles already to extend the hearth. Looks like a small job for someone who knows what they're doing. We want to be able to get an engineer's inspection to say the fire meets spec for insurance purposes. Job needs to be done by the time new carpet goes down in late April.
