Engineering check on what is needed to remove a wall

We're looking at taking out a wall but need advice on what is needed to support the ceiling. Wall doesn't look structural but also need to know if we require consent. We need an idea about what this will cost before getting anyone onsite to make changes. We already have a builder lined up.
