Our neighbour excavated his section July 22. It was done incorrectly and retaining poorly. The contractor was fired and after much legal discussions only now has a new contractor been appointed. The neighbour had paid for Rock and Soil to " monitor" our property for changes on a weekly basis. We have discovered they are only looking for cracks in our dwelling and not concerned with the land slippage. We need someone who can check our ground level changes urgently and on a regular basis to ensure our house does not actually start to crack. After the recent rain, the boundary land has taken significant damage and we do not want it to be exposed any longer. We need to ensure we have the information to push for the retaining wall to be fixed urgently and our path, and stairs, and landscape repaired.
