Check foundations

Hi, I’ve just had a builders report done on a house I may buy, and the inspector found some cracks in an area of the ring foundation. The floors are all level, the bearers are sitting square on the piles and there’s no obvious signs of structural change. The inspector nevertheless recommended asking an engineer to have a look. I can’t afford a lot, this is going to be a home for me and my kids, I just need To know it’s not going to fall Down! I don’t have any individual pics but I can forward the report to anyone interested. Thank you, Paul.
