Land Surveyor Needed

We are currently looking at extending our house to enclose the underneath stilted area. We have come into a complication, in that property is subject to flooding hazard from the nearby Pinehaven Stream in a 1 in 100 year return period flood event. The 1 in 100 year flood level for the property is 59.4m given in terms of Mean Sea Level Wellington 1953 Datum. This represents approximate flood depths of up to 0.9m in the area of the existing house. It is likely that the floor height will need to be built above the 1 in 100 year flood level given, and after the draughtsman noticed some inaccuracies in the map that was given to us, it was advised that we get someone in to survey the land and ascertain whether or not we are going to be able to go ahead with the build and achieve building consent.
