Our property in Epsom suffered flood damage. The boundary wall was concrete block about 4 blocks high and was pushed over by the weight of water. Our lawyer has advised we seek a structural engineer's report and advise as to how this wall should be rebuilt to meet insurance requirements, the idea being water should be able to flow through to reduce the overall height of trapped water. We also need this report to serve notice on the neighbours under the fencing act for cost contribution. The property is rented and we have an agent.
