Structural check and possible repair

Hi, We have a number of cracks throughout the house and in two rooms the windows don't close well. I am at the end of painting the lounge that had one very large long crack and two smaller long ones, all from one window to the floor. One of which wasn't there before when I was plastering. I want to do a new kitchen and am afraid it might cause new cracks in my lounge. Also, there are five new three storey apartments getting built in front of our house. Only the main structure has been erected. Always had issue with closing one of the room windows nonetheless. Would like someone to check if we have structural issue before we continue with renovations and to give recommendations or quote for repairs.
