We're tearing down a rotting retaining wall and are looking for an estimate to replace it with stone, to roughly match other stone edging on the property but it does not need to be exact (in fact a very perfect stone wall would look out of place). We're stepping the wall out from the original and lowering the height to about 600mm, and it will be this height all the way across the flat lawn until the stairs which might need to be a little bit higher at the corner. As the wall goes up the stairs it will reduce in height until it meets level with the top step. Total length of the wall including curve and up the steps is 13m. So roughly 13m at 600mm high. Not fussy about the type of stone. I'm happy to dig and lay a concrete base if it makes it easier/cheaper.
